What else does the Online Booking System do?
There are many additional functions including electronic POD, Freight track and trace, booking search, produce consignment notes and freight labels.
What if I make a mistake on my booking?
It is not possible to modify a booking after you have submitted it. If you need a change, called Coastal Midwest (Perth: 08 9361 8988 or Kalgoorlie: 08 9093 1222) and speak to our operations department to have the booking update. Once the booking is fixed you can simply reprint the connote and/or the freight label.
Can I reprint the paperwork?
If you need to reprint a connote or freight label simply use the “Booking Search” menu. By clicking the link for the connote or freight label will bring up the PDF ready to print.
What paper size do I print the consignment notes on?
Connotes are printed on standard A4 paper.
What paper do I print the freight labels on?
Freight labels print on the top left quarter of an A4 piece of paper.
There are options for using a dedicated printer and sticky label. Contact Coastal Midwest if you are interested in using this.
How do I attach freight labels to the freight
If printing your labels on A4 paper, the best way is to fold up the label and place it in clear, sticky packing sleeve, ensuring the barcode and address details are full visible.
How many connotes do I need to print?
1 copy of the connote report is required which includes the “office copy” and the “Receiver Copy”.
What I can I use for a proof of pickup
The “Supplier Manifest” lists all your bookings for a specific day. A Coastal Midwest Transport representative will sign it at the point of pick up, or if you drop the freight in the yard yourself.
