JOHN NAI – Managing Director & Principal
John purchased Coastal Midwest Transport in 1993 and remains at the helm. He is driven by an initial aim to provide cost effective transport services across Western Australia, although the company’s reach extends far beyond State borders. John’s ethos is clear: quality personnel equates to exceptional service, coupled with a willingness to continuously improve to uphold a well-earned reputation as the reliable, safety conscious logistical services provider across Western Australia and beyond.
MICHAEL WILDEN – General Manager
Michael joined the Kalgoorlie branch in 1999, with an inherent skill for providing exemplary customer service, paired with an innovative and flexible approach to business development. Michael has been integral in shaping Coastal Midwest Transport’s reputation as one of the largest and most reliable, safety conscious freight transport companies servicing the Goldfields and northern regions. Michael assumed the role of General Manager in 2010 and is now responsible for the company’s daily operations and strategic future.
PETER ROBERTSON – Operations Manager Perth and Kalgoorlie
With over 20 years industry experience, Peter joined Coastal Midwest Transport as Yard Manager in 2003, before progressing to Perth Operations Manager in 2007. His thorough technical understanding of safe loading and vehicle requirements, deems Peter a subject matter expert and a saviour among our clients. Peter is responsible for all operational and yard personnel, subcontractors and the allocation of all Perth assets.
HAYLEY YOUD – OH&S, HR Manager
Hayley is our rising star. Commencing in an administration role in our Kalgoorlie office, it wasn’t long before she ventured to the ‘big smoke’ of Perth to assume a data entry role within our busy headquarters and operations centre. Hayley also hit the books, studying Human Resources (HR) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S). She is now comprehensively trained across all HR and OH&S compliance and a highly respected and knowledgeable member of the Coastal Midwest Transport management team.
